Biography
Deacon Steve Kramer was ordained in 1994 for the Diocese of Rockville Centre, New York, and is now incardinated in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. He hold an M.A. in theology from Immaculate conception Seminary and a doctorate in Preaching and communication (D.Min.) from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Since 2014, he has served as Director of Homiletics, Director of Recruitment, and Associate Professor of Pastoral Studies and Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology, also teaching Homiletics for the archdiocese of Milwaukee’s permanent diaconate formation program.
A nationally recognized speaker and writer, Deacon Steve offers retreats, parish missions, and presentation on preaching, evangelization, pastoral care, and end-of-life ministry. He co-hosts the podcast Teaching Preaching – Forming Today’s Homilists and resides in Wisconsin with his wife, Geri; They have four children and one grandchild.
